Civic Epistemology is a project whose final aim is to design a Roadmap for broadening e-Infrastructure deployment to support citizen researchers in digital culture. Developing the Roadmap is the main objective for one of the project’s work packages (WP3), coordinated by the Swedish National Archives (RIKSARKIVET).
This work package conducted a public Workshop on the 20th of February 2015 with the aim to present the projects results, in order to obtain feedback from the partners and from external experts, before finalizing the Roadmap version 1. The Workshop was held in the beautiful city of Leuven, hosted by the Catholic University (Katholieke Universiteit) in the Museumzaal of the Erasmushuis (premises of the Faculty of Arts). The Katholieke Universiteit is a project partner in Belgium.
Invited were partners and relevant stakeholder e.g. the wider cultural heritage community, researchers, Citizens associations, creative enterprises and e-Infrastructure communities beyond the consortium. The Civic Epistemologies Project Officer, Ralph Dum also attended the Workshop as representative of the European Commission.
