EUreka3D-XR: XR Applications for Cultural Heritage
hybrid event in Pisa and on Zoom.
Thursday 27th February h. 11-12.30 CET
EUreka3D-XR is funded by the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union, to develop innovative re-use scenarios and tools that enable the creation of extended reality (XR) applications. The project will deliver 5 digital tools to support innovative reuse and more compelling engagement with cultural 3D resources in various settings, leveraging XR and other advanced technologies applied to heritage collections. To demonstrate the tools, the project will create three showcase scenarios, by different heritage institutions in Europe. This first presentation event took place as an hybrid workshop on the occasion of the project’s kick-off meeting in Pisa at Museo della Grafica, hosted by coordinator Photoconsortium. About 60 participants, from local cultural institutions and other CH professionals in Pisa, and international stakeholders online, attended the event.
