On April 10th, during Europeana Aggregator’s Forum Spring meeting, a presentation was jointly organized and showcased by Photoconsotium, INSPAI – Centre de la Imatge, Diputació de Girona and Europeana on Public Domain and photographer Valentí Fargnoli.

The presentation was brilliantly delivered to over 60 people (both online and on site) by Valentina Bachi (Photoconsorium), Clara Silvestre Colomer (INSPAI) and Maggy Szynkielewska (Europeana), who firstly showcased INSPAI collection by Fargnoli and the recently completed process of making it Public Domain on Europeana and promote it through a blogpost and a social media campaign.

The presentation ended with a call by Europeana to its Aggregator to update the rights label of the collections that will enter Public Domain in 2026, to increase visibility and accessibility.
