The CEPIC 2018 Congress is the most important networking and information hub for visual content providers. A dense programme has unfolded in 30-31 May with important sponsors like Adobe and Google. To end this jam-packed programme on 1st June, the event includes the Cultural Heritage Day, filled with guest speakers and round table discussions that look into the past of the image industry and new technologies that can help maintain and better structure it in order to utilize archives.
In particular, one of the round tables entitled Unlocking Archives with Innovation, Funding and Partnership is moderated by John Balean (TopFoto), one of the most active Photoconsortium members, and included among other speakers the participation of Photoconsortium president Fred Truyen accompained by Sofie Taes, our communication officer and Europeana collections curator.
CEPIC Congress: 30 May to 1 June at the Maritim proArte hotel in Berlin.
