On the 20th June 2023, a few days before the end of the Exhibition “I colori dell’anima: Giuseppe Viviani“, the Museo della Grafica in Pisa, honorary member of Photoconsortium, organised a meeting with experts to talk about the pisan artist.
A painter of remarkable originality and extraordinary poetic density, Giuseppe Viviani (1898-1965) populated his works with poetic everyday life, recounting a melancholic, poignant surreal and fairytale-like suburbia. This exhibition, in an evocative chronological itinerary, shows works from public and private collections, many of which have been rediscovered and re-proposed for this occasion. In the exhibition, the artist’s production is recomposed through the most significant moments that have accompanied his widespread international success.
The meeting was attended by the Museum’s curator Alessandro Tosi, and other important guests: Lucia Tongiorgi Tomasi, Antonio Cariello, Francesco Bosetti, Lorenzo Gremigni, Nicola Micieli and Franco Fiorenzani.
