Fifties Friday: Baby, baby

Fifties Friday: Baby, baby

From the curatorial effort of the EU project 1950s in Europe Kaleidoscope, every week on Friday there’s a new set of carefully selected photographs to be explored on the project’s website.

Today we present “Baby, baby”.

Endearing family heirlooms or slightly embarrassing remnants of a time long gone…. Many of us have mixed feelings when family photo albums are dug up, revealing chubby cheeks and frilly bloomers. But even the most ardent skeptic will have to admit: these fifties babies are 100% adorable! Browse the cutest part of Albin Lövqvist’s portfolio, and discover more of his impressive oeuvre on Europeana.eu.
