The EuropeanaPhotography EU-funded project (2012 – 2015) was the “parent” of PHOTOCONSORTIUM association, born as a spin off from this digitization project focused on early photography. The project partners are now members of PHOTOCONSORTIUM and will continue to work together for the promotion and enhancement of Photographic Heritage.
EuropeanaPhotography officially closed on 31st January 2015, and it was rewarded with the evaluation of “excellent” by the European Commission reviewers.
