On Wednesday 22 June 2022 we celebrate the ARMA conference. The project ‘The Art of Reading in the Middle Ages’ (ARMA) shows the importance of medieval reading culture as a European movement by bringing together digitised manuscripts produced between c. 500 and c. 1550 from across Europe, unlocking their educational potential by curational and editorial enrichment, using innovative ways for displaying and handling digital objects in an educational context.
Additionally, the project will enable the exchange of knowledge and experiences among curators and educators at cultural heritage institutions across Europe. The focus will be on creating educational activities with their medieval collections, aimed at primary, secondary and postsecondary teachers and students.

The second part of the conference will be an open online session (starting at 15:00) dedicated on the use of digitised material in primary, secondary and postsecondary education.
