The Center for Image Research and Diffusion (CRDI), of the Girona City Council, has been awarded at the first edition of the Fotoconnexió Awards, in recognition of its career path in the research field and in fostering photography.
Fotoconnexió is a non-profit cultural association created in Barcelona by a group of photographers, archivists, historians, collectors and researchers from the public and private, professional and amateur fields, with a common interest in the study of photography and audiovisual. The purpose of the association is to research, preserve and disseminate photography and audiovisual in all its aspects, anf the Award aims at recognizing those individuals or institutions who distinguished in sharing such objectives.
