Last year part of the CEPIC Congress programme was the Legal Workshop which reviewed the EU Copyright Directive and examined the different interpretations across the EU member states. The success of this roundtable event has given impetus to arrange a follow-up session, a Legal Webinar on 10 September from 16:00 to 17:30 CET.
With less than twelve months before the deadline for implementation of the Directive, we will review what has changed over the past year, what each country has achieved and what more is proposed for the coming months. In two separate sessions we will focus specifically on Articles 15 and 17 and invite you to join us at these events, exclusive to CEPIC and affiliate members. Expert speakers will present their views to an audience which will include industry professionals from the EU, Britain and the USA, representing image agencies, collecting societies, industry associations, journalists, photographers, and legal companies specialising in Copyright Law. We hope that you will join us at this high-level discussion.
Hosted entirely over Zoom, the Legal Webinar is open for registration and free of charge for CEPIC members and delegates of the CEPIC Congress 2020 (postponed to 2021) with paid registrations. Non-members fee: 30 €.
