AIPAI photo exhibition on industrial heritage at the Museum Of Iron in Brescia

The renovated San Bartolomeo Iron Museum will host the AIPAI Photo Exhibition from Tuesday 13 to the 25th of June. The best shots of the 1st competition for photographs of Italy’s industrial heritage will be displayed, promoted by the Italian Association for Industrial Archaeological Heritage with the main institutions of the sector such as DISCEA Università della Sapienza di Roma, Do.co.mo.mo Italia, Fondazione musil, Fondazione AEM, Fondazione ISEC, Rete Fotografia, Ance Brescia.

On 14 June the conference ‘The Myth of Reinforced Concrete: History, Architecture and Innovation‘, will be held in the Auditorium dei Capimastri di ANCE organised by ANCE in cooperation with musil and AIPAI. The conference will analyse the history and use of the material over time, applied to the restoration and redevelopment of artworks with practical examples. It will be a journey of discovery of the Reinforced Concrete that leads to its modern technical evolution with the birth of new materials that are more resistant, efficient and sustainable.

The works on show are the result of a careful selection made by a jury comprising many leading figures from the partners previously mentioned. The photos will be exhibited in the San Bartolomeo Iron Museum, which for the occasion will also provide guided tours (previously booked), observing the following opening hours:
