The annual event 2023 of Photoconsortium Association will be held as a physical meeting in Roma, hosted at the beautiful premises of the Istituto Svizzero and in collaboration with our members at University of Basel. Photoconsortium’s annual event this year is in facts organized on the occasion of the DH-CH2023 event on Data Science.
The general assembly of Photoconsortium members on 5th June will be followed the next day 6th June by a public presentation about 3D in Cultural Heritage, as one of the training and capacity building events of EU funded project EUreka3D and integral part of DHCH 2023. Partners of EUreka3D consortium will then stay for additional project meetings until the 7th June.
Monday 5th June 2023
h. 14.00 – 18.00: General assembly of Photoconsortium members (members only)
- Welcome by Photoconsortium President David Iglésias Franch (CRDI/Ajuntament de Girona)
- Presenting our new members: Topothek, Dublin City Libraries, La Tempesta, meemoo, Casa Planas, CAG, Virtual Culture, FOMU, Museo della Carta, Museu de l’Exili
- Presentation of activities 2022, including status of current projects
- Presentation of financial report 2022, and forecast for 2023
h. 18.00 – 19.00: “Data Science in Arts and Humanities: What is useful data?“
- Public Keynote by prof. Peter Fornaro, University of Basel

Tuesday 6th June 2023

Public event organized by the EUreka3D project
- Welcome messages and introduction
- Session 1 – Current scenario in the cultural sector: the need for 3D content in good quality and reusable
- Session 2 – Experiences with projects for 3D in cultural heritage
- Conclusions
