On Monday 13 November at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, Photoconsortium represented by Sofie Taes was invited to present in the track on Digital Curation at EVA Minerva XIVth Annual International Conference for Professionals in Cultural Heritage. Colleagues from other istitutions, among whom Marco Rendina of Europeana Fashion and Allison Kupietzky from The Israel Museum, were also present at the event.

Sofie’s talk was titled “Open Sesame: Europeana’s Thematic Collections on Photography and Migration”, and presented both thematic collections in Europeana as well as their added value for aggregators, content providers and end users.
