Photoconsortium’s member INSPAI – Girona Provincial Council’s Image Centre is set to take part in the event of the Europeana Agrregators Forum, where all the aggregators who work with cultural heritage institutions to gather authentic, trustworthy and robust data and make it accessible through Europeana will meet to exchange the knowledge and best practice that supports aggregation and data sharing with Europeana.

INSPAI is the depository of the collection of Valentí Fargnoli, which entered the Public Domain in 2025. In total, more than 1,600 images, including glass plates and paper copies, are now available for free download through the INSPAI website. Thanks to the collaboration with Photoconsortium association, the images have been added and shared on the Europeana platform to disseminate and promote the photographer’s work globally.

INSPAI – Girona Provincial Council’s Image Centre will take part to the Forum by sharing their experience and be showcased as a best practice in order to inspire and promote it among Europeana’s network.

The Europeana Aggregators Forum will take place on April 9-10, both online and on site.
