A new gallery curated by Photoconsortium is now available on Europeana.

Featuring photos of the Banská Bystrica region in Central Slovakia, provided by Promoter Digital Gallery, the collection offers a glimpse into the area’s rich history as a flourishing mining center since 1255. Today, the region’s mines and mining villages play a key role in preserving and promoting Slovakia’s heritage, particularly in light of a new wave of cultural tourism.
